Since AI became mainstream, hiring has been irreversibly damaged. We want better, it's time for a system that works for all involved.
The campaign for better hiring is designed to illustrate that there is a demand for a system that prioritises all parts of the process equally, as opposed to existing technology which only prioritises one; at the expense of candidates.

The change we believe is real and want to see.
- ○ We believe that the level of AI and automated decision making that is happening within ATS systems means that if "the computer says no" then it is accepted as fact. This is a questionable practice under data privacy legislation and we want better, not hollow defences of a broken system.
- ○ We believe that it is possible to give feedback at scale, but ATS systems only care about the businesses not the candidates. We don't need AI powered search, we need feedback to help us learn and grow to find our next opportunity.
- ○ We believe that cultural matching should happen first, not last. Salaries, benefits, and working arrangement conversations dont't need to be difficult, and shouldn't be taboo. If we dont't align, why waste anyone's time for the sake of inflated application numbers?
- ○ We believe that it is ridiculous to ask for a short CV when the job description is too long and overly vague. We know our CV is then matched against this, and instead of showing our skills we are guessing at what the magic words are; which is impossible when we don't know what good looks like. How many good matches are outright rejected because of this twisted game?
- ○ We believe that it is insanity that the first step of many applications is to re-enter your CV into another system because the "technology" can't effectively understand a CV. Why is the burden on the candidates rather then the expensive and secretive technology providers to improve their systems?
- ○ We believe that there is a system that can benefit both candidates and businesses, one that removes unnecessary admin, one that let's humans truly decide, one than can effectively handle 000s of applications, and one that unlocks growth for all involved.

We believe this system can be a reality, but we can't do it without you. These systems are so ingrained into existing processes, change will only happen if we work to make it a reality.
